Ministry of the Environment Project ALL GaN VEHICLE

[ World first ] Creation of a vehicle using next-generation power devices (GaN gallium nitride).

The ALL GaN VEHICLE (AGV) represents our pioneering concept car that integrates next-generation Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor materials into electrification technologies to advance low-carbon mobility solutions. This innovative application delivers substantive environmental benefits, enabling a reduction exceeding 20% in both total vehicle power consumption and carbon dioxide emissions when compared to conventional silicon-based power device inverters.

AVG system

As its propulsion system, the vehicle features in-wheel motors and GaN inverters positioned at the rear wheels, while further incorporating GaN-applied converters, onboard chargers, and laser high-beam lamps, all aimed at achieving an energy-efficient electrical and electronic system.
Yogo Home & Mobility Corporation has developed the vehicle planning, powertrain control (Driving, braking, and steering), charging systems, auxiliary equipment, wiring harnesses, and communication systems. We are participating in creating vehicles that will realize the low-carbon mobility society of the future.
